It seems that I’ve been doing nothing, but that’s the irony of blogs. The less you’re writing, the more you’re doing! Here are some things going on!
MONDAY NIGHTS: I co-host an open mike with Junior Stopka called the Depression Hour. Instead of a traditional comedy open mike, we ask performers to share the saddest, most depressing stories about themselves. It’s group therapy with shots. Underground Lounge at 952 W. Newport. 10:15pm sign up.
TOMORROW: I’m recording a podcast for You, Me, Them, Everybody at The Hungry Brain. We’ll be doing a live commentary of the White Sox baseball game. I love baseball and comedy! I participated in one of these last month and it was some of the most fun I’ve ever had performing.
NOVEMBER 16th: At The Hungry Brain, I’ll be producing The Pizza Film Festival. It’ll be an awesome night of film, comedy and pizza as we celebrate this under-appreciated genre of film.
Check out www.pizzafilmfest.com for more details. I need sponsors, submissions and audience members so please come out and get involved!
