Sometimes art makes me mad…

Mrs. Driscoll was my first grade teacher. She was tall (about 6′2), menacing and for some reason, did not like me. She is the reason that I thought I was a bad artist for most of my childhood.

Since I sometimes drew pictures with three-fingered people instead of five-fingered people, she gave me a C in Art.

I think that’s why I wrote the accompanying story with the below picture. I was trying to justify why one leg appears longer than the other and the reason for her red skin. I can’t explain why the sun is smiling.

Oddly enough, I got an A in Spelling.

She is waving and she is stamping her foot. She is saying bye and is mad because she's stamping her foot. - Tia*
